Oriental Thai – European Restaurant

The Oriental is an exclusive fine dining restaurant in Calangute, Goa, located inside the Hotel Mira. The Oriental specialises in authentic Royal Thai Cuisine (one of the few left since this old fashion style of cooking is not economic any more) and selected Continental food.

On the menu we have more than 50 authentic Thai Dishes created by Chawee, one of Thailand’s leading Chefs. Everyday the Oriental kitchen produces fresh Tofu as well as 15 specialized sauces.

For the Western taste Oriental offers steaks, pasta (al Dente!), Wiener schnitzel, Hungarian goulash, home made noodles, salads, home made cakes, deserts and excellent espresso, cappuccino or filter coffee – all at highest European Standards.

Our beef tenderloin steaks or “little Chateaubriands” are aged in a special cooling device in order to achieve natural tenderness. Along with mashed potato and our sautéed spinach with mushroom and garlic, they are simply irresistible.
