Safa Masjid

The Safa Masjid was built by Adilshah of Bijapur.  It highlights the lifestyle of the Muslims during the 15 century. Id-ul-Zuha and Id-ul-Fitar are the festivals commonly celebrated here drawing attention to thousands of Muslims and other curious tourists. The Masjid has been portrayed beautifully throughout the decades. It has a pond that surrounds which greenery all around; unfortunately the garden was destroyed during the Portuguese era.
